🌸🦝Meet Ashura the Raccoon!🦝🌸

This lovely lady was the fursuit I was telling everyone about in some previous status updates! My IRL friend who went to FM with me has wanted a fursuit for years and I decided to- as a surprise for their upcoming birthday- make that dream come true!

She’s built off a combination of paper matchet, foam clay, and pvc masquerade mask base from the craft store, with upholstery foam ears and side tufts. She’s also fully lined with three layers of Lycra, and her eyes are made from my typical waterproof mesh, and covered in a thin layer of cut plastic from giant googly eyes for the traditional kemono suit effect. She was SUCH a delight to make and I can’t wait to try this method out again with a personal project, as well as some potential Premades 👀
