the ref sheet for dragon me is finally done !! some things may still be up for revision and may not stay the same forever, but am really happy to have another sona other than my kobold :3
some fun facts about Calypso:
-the hair color is dyed and not natural, the color can or may change occasionally in some artwork depicting them. their natural hair color is the same color as their eyes
- most of Calypso's body is covered with short fur, except on the spots, on the inside of their wings, and around the end of their nose. the fur thins out slightly towards their belly and groin area, but is still very soft to the touch. their mane has longer locks that closer resembles human hair (because it is lol) while the tuft of fur on their chest is much fluffier to the touch
(don't overthink this, if you draw them its ok if they're all the same hair type)
- their age is unknown because its hard to say when technology to transition in this way will be possible, plus i typically just age these characters off my irl age. they are well over the age of 18, however
- while they are technically MtF, I may draw or request them to be drawn as a herm
- the collars design is from a website you can get real collars like theirs called 'Collar Factory' they even have a little designer, very cool place :3
-their wings are not capable of flight sadly, they still can move and give great hugs though :3

- the spots on their wings are a result of skin discoloration of the wings when they were grown in the lab. they liked how they looked, so the spots on the body and the stripe across the belly were tattooed on to match the wings
- the spot over their right eye is the result of a surgical complication during their transitioning from a human face to having a muzzle (they can still see from both eyes though thankfully)
- they have a lot more metal inside their body than they would like to admit, as some parts (mostly their arms, legs, and hips) had to be replaced or reinforced to support the weight and size of their new body
- although i would prefer them to stay as a feral, any depictions of them as an anthro is canonically before the last stage of their transitioning (the digigrade legs and spine extension)
