As you know before, Vetom had brown hair before. So why suddenly with the black and purple?

It's because Vetom looks up to Stellar as not only as a brother, but as an inspiration. Thinking this way, they both are one side of a coin. Stellar, without a family to live with and had to press forward with that in mind. Vetom, yet to be explained, but was hinted in the pic of the two, had a rather abusive family. One with a bad family, one without the good. Two rather unfortunate events in both situations. So in turn, Vetom wants to be, in a way, a sort of guardian to her.

In a way, he's getting rid of anything that'll remind him of his parents and replaces it with Stellar, seeing the black and purple. Think of a mark, or rather, a promise to be with Stellar for as long as he can. With this, he has a priority to keep her safe and always be there for her.
