OMG, I just realized I should have specified I meant the 15th of July! Ahhh you said you were so swamped I was going to give you all the time in the world and my mental thought process was - normally art is due on the 30th, I'll make it fifteen days after that. Boy, I'm a ditz. But you finished it on THIS 15th, haha. Well, I'll just finish mine tonight as well, then!
I hope that that didn't put you under alot of stress, gawds I feel terrible for not clarifying >.<
As to the picture itself:
Holy mother of mercy this is GORGEOUS. I mean absolutely, stunningly, deliciously gorgeous.
The folds of her dress have a highly nouveau look to them. They're expressive, accurate, and fall with their own weight like liquid silk. The moon crest on the top of her outfit fits perfectly with her calling and thank you for adding that touch of detail to the top. Her stripes are beautiful, I've always been impressed with how you highlight the lines down the body and include them with the play of light. I love the way her hair falls into corkscrew curls and the way they just tumble off her shoulders. The setting is also highly lovely, and very symbolic. Looking at her sitting in the tree and touching stars, it could almost be an icon image, and it definitely gives it a very goddess feel. I really love the way the tops of the trees fade to black, as well as the bottom of the grass. It gives the image an all encompassing feel. The glow of her hooves is graceful and makes the stars seem all the more brilliant, since the image has more than one focus of light.

And I’m so glad you’re happy with it, I used this piece as an opportunity to push myself to do some things I’m not always very comfortable with, human anatomy and fabric folds most especially. I need to push myself to do backgrounds more often too. The theme was right up my alley, I love “Greek Goddess” type themes and Taeloa really had that vibe.
