In exploring what life after Kuprum would be like for Folykl, I began to wonder what independence would look like for her once she began getting treatment for her Voidrot. Enter; the psionic pump! Psionic battery powered, it functions similarly to an insulin pump. She still needs to get the batteries charged, but now she can keep homeostasis without keeping herself attached to someone else at all hours.
This piece of medically assistive technology means not just freedom and recovery, but it's also the final piece in making her realize that even if she doesn't need Kuprum to survive, she still cares about him and she wants him in her life. She wants a long life with him.
