It took me a long time to get my hair to look like i wanted it as well, because all the haircuters i got to they made my hair way to... Nice?
I wanted my hair more wild (Like yours with the hair down the sides) and Today i have a haircutter who is the ONLY Woman who is allwoed to cut my hair because she knows exactly how i want it.
Rather have an Unique hairstyle you can call your own, instead of look like everyone else with the same hairstyle. thats what make us Unique :D

Oh nice, yeah I can understand that which is essentially the struggle can be real but at least you got one that you were satisfied with in the end hehe.
I tried going to haircutters but they just didn't really cut it the way I liked so I had to take matters into my own hands and after like 3-4 tries, finally got it close enough to what I was wanting lol.
