A touching piece to show a unique side of Marihea and Felix's journey together.

"What the heck you mean you can change?! What does that even mean?"asked Felix. "Well unless you have any better ideas the nearest town isn't for another four hours and it'll be more difficult to travel at night" huffed Marihea. Marihea began taking her clothes off. "Take these, I'm not ruining them" she continued handing Felix her clothes. She stared straight into his eyes "Whatever you hear and whatever you see DON'T scream! Oh and uhh...close your eyes please".

"Ok...fine I guess just don't burn down the forest or whatever you're going to do" replied Felix as he closed his eyes. What happened next he couldn't comprehend. 'RRRRGH!, ROAR!' Followed by loud cracking could be heard in Marihea's direction. A bead of sweat ran down Felix's head as he heard and felt an immense presence coming towards him. "Open your eyes and remember what you were told, my patience isn't the best" replied the voice. Felix opened his eyes and what stood front of him was a enormous towering figure with large claws and dangerous looking fangs. "Oh...welp...I'm so dead" replied Felix. Felix immediately got rebuked by the figure. "Oh quite whining I'm not that ugly am like this?" it replied bopping it's nose against Felix almost sending him off his feet.

The figure narrowed it's eyes showing how annoyed it was. Felix looked again as the figure lay in-front of him and noticed the heart-shaped stripe on it's face. "Marihea?! What the-" he got interrupted by a low growl. "Who the hell did you think it was?!" puffed Marihea, "So...this is...new...not exactly a fox nor a tig-" began Felix but was cut-off again. "This form works better without being too terrifying and no DON'T ASK Felix, there's somethings you should leave in the dark" she replied sternly. "Now get over here...don't look at me like that. Get over here I'll not bite for goodness sake." sighed Marihea pawing the ground beside her.

Felix stood beside her and ran his hands through the thick fur that covered her body and hesitated as he got close to her face, "Uhh..would you mind if I-" started Felix. "Maybe I do mind!" replied Marihea as she wrapped herself around him. "One touch that's it no more no less you have TEN seconds!" she puffed staring at him from the side. Felix gingerly ran his hand up over the fluff on the back of her ears which was even softer than the fur he felt earlier. "So...soft and fuzzy. Oh ahem...thank you for umm you know, so what what now? Why are you shaped like this?" replied Felix. "Well, unless you have a better idea you're gonna sleep here beside me and...oh lord why am I doing this..." sighed Marihea. "You're... gonna have to stay under my tail for warmth. It should be enough to cover you for the night so you don't catch a cold out here" continued Marihea as she pulled her tail in to cover him.

"Wow this is super cozy...but as much as I appreciate the gesture what about you?" replied Felix in a concerned tone. "Aww...don't you worry about me I don't feel the cold, especially like this. You can take your shirt off if it's too warm" replied Marihea nuzzling up to him. "Also don't get used to it this, it's a one-time thing I can't having you getting sick on me again, goodnight Felix" she continued as they both closed their eyes as night began to fall over the forest.
