Two weeks before my fanfiction even starts, both Simba and Mufasa fall victims to the events in the gorge almost like in the movie. ALMOST, because in my story something completely different happens, which makes Mufasa survive.

A few minutes ago Simba had been saved from the wildebeests by an unknown stranger. Now that the dust has set, and the stranger had told him that his father is on his way Simba starts looking for Mufasa. While doing so the ground suddenly starts rumbling again. Simba lets himself fall to the ground and covers his face with his paws. Then he risks a look between his toes and doesn't believe his eyes. Mufasa, who has somehow grown into a giant, is approaching him instead of wildebeests. Again, Simba covers his face with his paws and thinks to himself: "No, please don't do anything to me! I should have listened to you!" But shortly after that, the rumbling suddenly stops and the paw of a full-grown lion touches him. Simba looks up and sees Mufasa standing next to him with a smile on his face and normal-sized. When Simba tells Mufasa about the events Mufasa answers that he had also seen the stranger. About his giant appearance Mufasa tells him that Simba was unconscious when he found him. But Simba knew what he had seen.

Two weeks later at the end of the first chapter the events in the gorge still keep Simba thinking. So he visits his big friend my OC Kiburi in the hope to find answers. Two chapters later he finds them as Kiburi demonstrates his supernatural powers to him and proves him, that Simba was definitely not unconscious. So, what is Mufasa hiding from him?

Zwei Wochen bevor meine Fanfiction überhaupt beginnt, fallen Simba und Mufasa, fast genau wie im Film, den Ereignissen in der Schlucht zum Opfer. FAST, denn in meiner Geschichte kommt alles anders, wodurch Mufasa überlebt.

Vor wenigen Minuten wurde Simba von einem unbekannten Fremden vor den Gnus gerettet. Nun, da sich der Staub gelegt und der Fremde ihm gesagt hat, dass sein Vater gleich kommt, begibt Simba sich auf die Suche nach Mufasa. Dabei beginnt die Erde plötzlich erneut zu beben. Simba lässt sich auf den Boden fallen und hält sich seine Pranken vor sein Gesicht. Dann riskiert er einen Blick zwischen seinen Zehen hindurch und traut seinen Augen nicht. Anstelle weiterer Gnus nähert sich ihm Mufasa, welcher auf unbekannte Weise zum Riesen geworden ist. Simba hält sich wieder seine Pranken vor sein Gesicht und denkt sich: „Nein, bitte tu’ mir nichts! Ich hätte auf dich hören sollen!“ Doch kurz darauf hört das Erdbeben mit einem Mal auf und die Pranke eines erwachsenen Löwen rüttelt an ihm. Simba blickt auf und sieht Mufasa wieder normal groß und lächelnd neben sich stehen. Als Simba Mufasa von den Geschehnissen erzählt, antwortet dieser ihm, dass er den Fremden ebenfalls gesehen hatte. Bezüglich seines riesigen Erscheinungsbildes entgegnet Mufasa ihm jedoch, dass Simba bewusstlos gewesen sein soll, als er ihn fand. Doch Simba wusste, was er gesehen hatte.

Zwei Wochen später, am Ende des ersten Kapitels, beschäftigen Simba die Ereignisse in der Schlucht noch immer sehr. Darum besucht er seinen großen Freund, meinen Charakter Kiburi, in der Hoffnung, bei ihm Antworten zu finden. Zwei Kapitel später findet er sie, als Kiburi ihm seine übernatürlichen Kräfte vorführt und ihm beweist, dass Simba definitiv nicht bewusstlos war. Was also verschweigt Mufasa ihm?
