Natalia Kit'sune Tigress - Built 02/09/2008
Natalia was one of my custom works, actually one of my first real attemps at modeling something totally different from one base. For those who are deep in Warhammer 40,000, the old metal Demonette models were fantastic to model with; their poses were very dynamic and easy to work around for cool weapons.
Natalia was built for the purpose of fluff, and a huge story was put behind her, I had designed some pretty basic stats, as well as some neat tricks, that were put out in a few house games. She did quite well despite her fragility and was quite upset that few people are as open to "custom characters" as they use to be.
She was my pride, she was something I had spent a week working on.
and then I lost her.
June 26, 2011, Pittsburgh PA, Anthrocon 2011. Natalia went missing between the time frame of 10am and 12pm. She was lost somewhere outside the Double Tree in the city center and the David Lawrence Convention Center.
I had posted pics of Natalia on Facebook as well as my DA and Anthrocon's Lost and Found page, but then decided to put one here, which was derp of me not too before.
I hope out there she is alright, that someone has found and took care of her, rather than be crushed by an unsuspecting car. She most likely was dropped on the sidewalk just outside, so someone who had seen her may have taken the liking to pick her up. If so, I hope that person treats her well, and that someday I may be able to reclaim her.
She means a lot to me, and as I write this i feel terrible having failed myself as an modler, a Warhammer 40k player, and a miniature gamer.
Time heals wounds, who knows, perhaps someday I shall find her again.
