My B theme submission! can't wait to see  phillis_hound's!

I chose insects with either B family names, B common names, or just plain ol' B in their name. I also chose Meridian, the blue-eyed bat, and Bug-Shows, which I put on personally here in Flagstaff, AZ. The Traveling Arthropod Show!

My original intent was to do one insect for each of the 28 current orders (according to BugGuide) of insects, but after 6 hours of research and 5 hours of drawing to get to 11 insects... I knew I was running out of time. So I took what I had, modded them, and called it a sketch. I'll try to ink and color the remainder at some future point.

Pictured here are: Bat flea (on head), Banded Pennant Dragonfly, Giant Roach (Blaberus giganteus), Bumblebee (Bombus sp.), Jumping Bristletail, Mayfly (Baetis sp.), Thread-legged Assassin Bug (Barce fraterna), band-winged thrips (Aeolo brunneipictus), Angel bug (Zorotypus barberi), Silverfish (Batti grasciella), Wood-boring Beetle (Buprestis gibbsi),and Snakefly (Calabroraphidia renate)
