This is a group painting in the style of a movie poster I made after nearly two years focusing on longtime original characters of mine, especially featuring Oliver Red, an American red squirrel who is a genius mastermind, a natural born driver, creative inventor, military veteran, and young detective protégé of four of the core members of the elite, heroic vigilante group named the Lucky Mavericks, who hunt and take down the most powerful and dangerous people on Earth such as violent gangs, corrupt officials, greedy businessmen, tyrannical despots, and conventional supervillains who harm and threaten the innocent while being at odds and hunted down by law enforcement and corrupt powerful figures.

He is usually accompanied by his teammates and friends such as Alicia Le Starshyne, the beautiful, talented, French British, singer and actress Bengal cat who is a childhood best friend of Oliver and his first love interest, Jack Russell, an African American Jack Russell Terrier dog who is another childhood best friend of Oliver's who acts like an older brother for him, Joey Minar, a brilliant Hollywood filmmaker, green dragon who pays tribute to a real-life late best friend of mine, Cherry Blossom, the whip-cracking, skilled pilot, British Egyptian robin leader of the Lucky Mavericks vigilante group, Dr. Walken Jackson-Ohio, the group’s second-in-command, musclebound, inventive, medical expert and enforcer Texan alligator, Neyla Kumar, the Lucky Mavericks' usually quiet but masterfully talented fireworks and demolition expert, British Indian bumblebee, Kiyoko “Fudge” McKale, the team's Japanese Canadian, half-dragon/half-salamander, blind but highly skilled ninja and martial arts master who is nicknamed “Fudge” by most of his teammates due to his wide appetite, Zariah, Walken’s non-anthropomorphic but highly trained, domesticated loyal pet dove who is his lab assistant and partner out in the field, and FBI Special Agent-In-Charge, Robert Hoskins, a field agent griffin who is a former mentor of Cherry's when they were both bounty hunters in the past and becomes a secretive ally of the Lucky Mavericks. The team uses a wide variety of vehicles to pull off their missions against evil forces with their number one automobile, the Sly Carmelita, a heavily modified, armored 1940 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 limousine with Oliver being the official getaway driver.

The Lucky Mavericks are praised by the general public for their heroic acts of saving innocent lives and taking down evil threats. However, them being vigilantes gets them criticized and targeted by high-ranking political figures and law enforcement including FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover's number one field agent, Special Agent-In-Charge, Archer Stratemeyer, a former World War ll U.S. Marines colonel king cobra who is making it his life's mission to capture and arrest the Lucky Mavericks while growing respect for them over time for their noble acts. The Lucky Mavericks even made a lot of enemies in the global criminal underworld and powerful foes with one of them being Thaddeus Keens, a multi-skilled and powerful wizard, British, red fox who wants to become God of the entire universe who is created by both Mark Smith/FreyFox  FreyFox and me.

This group picture is inspired by the original, Japanese movie poster of the 2019 CGI animated, anime film, Lupin The Third: The First, based off the manga/anime franchise of the same name, and also influenced by a group painting of Tracy Butler’s webcomic and animated series, Lackadaisy, featuring the main protagonists, Rocky Rickaby, Freckle McMurray, and Ivy Pepper and their 1927 Ford Model A, and a couple of posters focusing on the Lackadaisy animated pilot and upcoming first season.

Oliver Red, Cherry Blossom, Dr. Walken Jackson-Ohio, Neyla Kumar, Kiyoko “Fudge” McKale, Zariah, Jack Russell, Special Agent-In-Charge Robert Hoskins, and Special Agent-In-Charge Archer Stratemeyer are owned and created by me.
