This little gargoyle/dragon was commissioned by a member of deviantart.com who wanted a creature to ride on her shoulder at faires and conventions.

He was a great success! I even made all of his fingers posable, sturdy enough to climb a tree, and gentle enough to hold a flower!
What a sweetie!
Even his wings are completely posable and can hold a fully outstretched or bent position easily.

I'll upload shots of him climbing soon!

I make these by creating a wire armature, then sculpting the head, feet, and other accessories, then baking it. I then paint the creature, then carefully sew and stuff a plush body over the wire parts.
The result is a posable piece of art that is still as lovable and huggable as a plushie!
