My heart is... - OC Art
...a plummeting pyre. It blisters my hands, yet still I clasp onto it with gentle pressure. I have to trust it, even as we free fall. I may be crushed against the ground, but I've been through worse. I know I can do hard things, moving in rhythm to the steady beat.

This year has been a series of events all falling into one another like dominos, getting increasingly more upsetting and scary. I feel like I might lose everything I have again, and I'm struggling to hold onto my sanity. It feels there's very little I can control right now. So I hold onto what I can and accept whatever may come. /srs
