What a heartwarming artwork and animation you made here for many reasons ~ You captured the original movie artstyle greatly, especially with the leaf-star on Littlefoot's head like in the movie. Additionally, this is so on character: I think this art as how Little foot would react if he finds a mammal while wandering alone to the Great Valley, some time before meeting Ducky and the rest.

I do try to take as much character accuracy as I can when I do fan art like this, I find it definitely helps with the nostalgic feelings when that and the style are as close as possible, ofcourse i'll never be able to get it exactly as the great animators of old, but it's fun to pay homage 🥰
