Time for an oldie! Ah, Flora Jones. The child of Davy Jones and Calypso, and star of my fan fic: The Flower of the Sea (which isn't done yet, motivation is in a sink hole at the moment).
I know the tragic duo having a kid isn't a new concept, but I came up with Flora back when Pirates of the Caribbean was still huge, and her character has gone through multiple revamps and rewrites since then. She's stuck with me for so long that the fan fiction about her is like a personal project. Something to get my ideas out and share them with the world.
On that note, if anyone on this site has been reading the story (which you can read on AO3 and FanFiction.net, I'm still debating if I should put it on other sites), sorry for the spoiler but yes, Flora will lose an eye at some point. On another note, I've had so many people ask if they want to do collaborations and make fan art or comics based on the fan fic. I know most of these asks are likely spam bots and scams, but by the tiny chance any of them aren't, go right ahead! I'd love to see your takes on the story so far! As long as you credit me and Disney (cause no one wants to go on a copyright war with them) of course!
