Found this feather in our neighbor's back yard. I have been seeing two hawks flying around the lake and woods area behind our house. I was hoping to identify the bird.
Any help? It is a 10 1/4 inch feather, definitely from a wing. I like in Florida, where sharp shinned hawks are a little more common.
here are my two leads:
Female Sharp Shinned Hawk:

Female Northern Harrier Hawk:

EDIT
Thank you for pointing it out to me! Some people suggested that it might be a red shouldered hawk. After looking it up it seems they live year round in florida and looks exactly like the feather. even the call was the same. looks like we found our bird. thanks!

It's too large to belong to a Sharpie, they're pretty small birds.
It looks like an accipiter feather though, a lot of the juveniles have striped feathers like that, possibly a Cooper's Juvenile or a juvenile Goshawk could be the owner as well.
It's hard to tell via just feather. You'd have to find measurements of the actual species feathers.

I'm also not sure what species we share live out there, both species you mentioned and the 2 I listed are in Colorado.
