Yet another character from a Hero System game. Lani Quill AKA Plume has taken me three attempts to get right, and while I finally feel she's decent.

TLDR Warning because I want to dump her/ her world's lore.

Plume's home plane of existence's primary religion consisted of four classes of angels: Panthera, Canis, Ursine and Ascended. The Ascended where the mortals that were rewarded for a good life with rebirth to their prime as angelic beings. The other three classes were unnamed individuals spawned by their heaven when needed. The Lowest rank of spawned angel were the Panthera, they filled the role of foot soldiers and beat cops and possessed feline features. The Canis, who possessed canine features, acted as detectives and special ops. And the Ursine, as you may have guessed have bear features, and the only ones without wings, act as swat and Panzer/panzer buster units in war. When a spawned angel has done something of note they may be presented with a name.

On the last day of her world they were loosing their war with the Tree of Death. The unnamed Plume and her siblings had just spawned into existence in the inner sanctum to see a Canis enter and warn them to not bother going to battle as it was already lost, it was time to preserve what they could. Her siblings did not heed the warning and charged out. Plume offered to help the Canis brother with his conservation efforts, only for him to conclude that she was something to preserve. He trapped her in a sarcophagus like device so she would survive, which would eventually land on a version of Earth. Where she met up with the party during a vampire based apocalypse. Afterwords the party named her Lani Quill, which she adores. She chose Plume as a professional handle, feeling that it was soft and light without the weight of theology behind it.
