This reminds me of Wall-E :D
Robots restoring a dying world for humanity is always a good formula, the earliest example I can think of off the top of my head is Robo in the game Chrono Trigger. There's something to be said for humanity's ability to bond with anything, even inorganic matter.

XD definitely! It's the fact that we wish to be understood and to understand but can't always be vulnerable with each other to truly do so. A robot or character exhibiting the traits people wish to see or feel but don't know how is why we fall in love with such simple yet complex ideas, tropes, stories, and items!

A lot of folks really liked this robo villian XD how he manipulated one human and ran tests but instead of just tossing him aside, found his own code to actually care for the flesh bag covered in metal. I live when one off stories and characters become their own, it's a lot of fun with the chaos!

In the end, all the AI wanted for the organics and inorganics to live in harmony. Such a shame it cost the AI the first friend it ever made.

Sometimes, the cost has to be so great to move the biggest mountains XD
