Con sketch at the C-ACE 2007 dead-dog party for  chubbs Got the scan a few hours after I got home, and spent an hour or so this morning cleaning it up. A color version is forthcoming, hence the placement in my scrap folder.

Inked with a ballpoint following a bit of inspiration from GOH Andrew "Loopy" Pidcock, I've depicted Tatiana doing what she does best--sprinting, this time against a passing VIA Rail Canada passenger train at an undefined location.

A difficult pose for me, I gained inspiration from the opening sequence of Thundercats where Cheetara plows through a crowd of enemies, so I have attempted to mimic her open-handed arm movements in this pic. The original inks had her trailing hand in a fist, but I altered that during cleanup into what should have been.

Following a question posed to Max Blackrabbit across the table about how long his con sketches take, I timed myself on this # to about 11p...um, yeah--I need to work on that before I can consider doing Artist's Alley at any upcoming cons this year. As stated before, I'll work on a colored version, probably sometime this weekend.
