April is Autism Acceptance Month, and TC has paired up with WaggToon to celebrate.
I got in touch with WaggToon for this one; Joey has autism like I and TC do. It's something that I've learned to accept over the years.
I have been doing much better interacting with people over the years, and I've become exceptionally patient toward others. But talking to people isn't always easy, especially if I have no defined reason for talking to someone. I've also been doing a better job with multi-tasking, although it can be stressful when you're trying to think of only one thing at a time (and it often shows). And don't get me started on eye contact.
The good news is that people have become increasingly accepting of autism over the years, and society has helped me come to peace with this part of myself. We've come a long way from the days where everyone assumed something was wrong with us.
Visit https://linktr.ee/waggtoon to see more of Joey's art, and check https://waggtooncommissions.carrd.co/ for details on his commissions like I did.
p.s. While TC can speak, he doesn't do well with strangers unless he has a specific reason to talk. Fortunately, he knows plenty of sign language symbols.
