April is Autism Awareness Month. And as someone who is on the spectrum, I’m proudly waving the autism flag.
I was diagnosed when I was in third grade. And since then, I’ve been dedicated to helping raise awareness and understand of people with autism/aspergers.
Ever since I joined the furry fandom, I’ve met many people here who happen to be on the spectrum. And a lot of them share similar backgrounds (struggled in school, social difficulties, etc). Through it all, we’ve all found happiness here, in spite of our struggles.
I’m very happy to be part of this community, and thanks once again to
rockosedits for this commission!

Happy Autism Awareness Month, Matt. For me personally, I may also be autistic but I haven't been diagnosed. It may very well be that I am high-functioning, but I don't know. I hope you keep continuing to learn to navigate life with your autism and know that you are special just the way you are.
