So my fursona Euro was created after coming back from a trip to Europe in 2004 (I went to Germany, Austria, and nipped into France that time) and I had a fantastic time. Plus the name shared the name with the currency (money is a personal interest of mine) and also the name sometimes designating the “sportier” version of a car (also a personal interest of mine). I was not familiar with the political side of things, country stereotypes, alliances, and barely knew of the history and economic aspects of not only many European countries but of Europe as a whole. That has changed quite a lot since then, and I wish I was able to make it back to Europe between 2004 and 2018, when I visited again.

So the funny story is that this commission got finished for me not only during Brexit, but also during one of the procedural votes to implement Brexit. I hope to commission the artist  Silvixen again.
