Yeah, I'm not right. The most expensive perfume I ever bought was a tiny little bottle of "Opium" which was a gift for my Mom. I usually wear el cheapo body splash stuff as it's fragrance isn't over powering (I work in a medical facility and some people are allergic to strong odors). I also have a bottle of my favorite perfume, Jovan White Musk. I like perfume, I just don't wear it due to my job.
On a weird, sort of related side note, never, ever, NEVER buy perfume for me. For some reason, when people buy perfume for me, they die. So far, my Mom and two aunts all gave me a bottle of this one specific type of perfume and died shortly there after. Same kind/brand of perfume from each of them. I can't wear it. I have one bottle left to use as an excuse, "Yeah, I like that perfume but I have some left so you don't need to buy any for me! Thanks, though."

I think that the idea of things being hip or not hip is the result of the fashion industry's marketing to sell product :-P
My favorite deodorant is Axe Dark Chocolate, but only because *I* like the smell of it.
That aside, every time I dose my cats with Advantage, I do have to take care to not get it on my fingers. The smell of that stuff won't go away on its own!
