April 6th, 2025 - Another scale comparison, but this time for Khol Ragima — I wanted to have this guy grow in size in both height and width. Lizards are always good for that kind of thing but eventually things always end up pearshaped eh?
Part 3, I really need to figure out how to do big legs. Not entirely happy with how I've been drawing them but I haven't done enough anatomy stuff to figure out a good way to draw them. Add that to the list of things to study.
Otherwise, I'm happy with how the layout itself turned out. What do you think of my choice of three words to describe each size?

Legs are always a huge problem for me too (atop many other issues), to the point I'm happy when the character is large enough to hide them or turn them into sacks of blubber. I don't have a solution either, but I don't think you did bad on these big ones!
Lush sounds a little small to me, but I'm not a native speaker and don't hear the word that often. How about 'leviathan' for the future?
Either way I adore seeing these charts and hope you do more! I started SKETCHING one myself but unsure if I'll finish it properly.
Great work, in so many words!

Legs will just take some time to practice/experiment with. Thanks for the bode of confidence though!
Choice on the word "Lush" was needing a 4-5 letter word that was appropriately big. Luscious or luxurious is the word I wanted to use, but that's too big.
Hooray for sketches though. These drawings do take quite abit of time to be honest. 45 minutes per face, then probably 2 hours for each full body. So it's not a fast process.

Yo thanks! Large the size I have him in my ref sheet from 2023. Figured I wanted to give that size a draw again.
One thing that helps is having the previous size set to 10-30% opacity, then sketching the next size up ontop. If you're having a tough time being gradual, you can go with a clearly larger sketch for the next, then draw the in between the two sizes. From there, keep repeating til you've made as many progressions as you want.
