Just a basic pose. I've been really into dragons lately, mostly because I'm back in the Ninjago fandom. I'm currently in the Crystalized season (season 15? 16?) I plan on ordering watercolor paints and a watercolor pad because I've been loathing drawing and coloring lately so maybe this will cure me just in time for ArtFight 2025.

Another reason why I turned Thaddeus into a dragon was because in my pirate AU, Kalahari (the rosy cheeked dog seen in the reference photo) saw Mars as a big brother figure and ran off with him to become a pirate too. Being her friends/littermates, Thaddeus and Chowdaviontavious (teal dog with brown ears) wanted to bring her back home out of concern for her getting hurt. Somewhere along the line, Thaddeus turns into a dragon to catch up with the ship and find Kalahari.

This is such a funny plotline to me because now that I've modeled Thad's dragon form, you could literally see him from 10 miles away omg.

I'm still thinking what elemental power to give him. I was thinking either lightning or fire but he looks like a sleepytime dragon that tells goodnight stories esdrftgfresrrdfyuhygdrsf
