The third bit of Anthrocon Commission Artwork comes from how 2011 seemed to be "The Year of the Pony" thanks to the My Little Pony series "Friendship is Magic.

It seemed like everywhere I turned I saw at least one example of the many incarnations of MLP, the most common of course being the "Ponification" of people's furry avatars.
(For those of you who don't know what this meas it's basically the species of their furry selves suddenly swapping with a Pony-version)

Of course I discussed this with the artist Thorne http://www.furaffinity.net/user/anmouse/ and after one of my typically silly thoughts he put pen to paper and went along for the ride.

I think I may have started an idea here that could become a trend... I'd love to see where it goes.
