Here's my new tattoo, done today.
Any irritation you see is from the tape on the bandage (owwy). Everything else is looking nice, and this photo is after a gentle cleaning followed by an application of a thin layer of Baby Aquaphor.
This tattoo is in memory of a cat of mine who died about a year ago from complications with a thyroid tumor. It wasn't malignant, but it had gotten too big and was starting to affect him negatively. I never got to say goodbye to him, and the way I found out about his death was a big dramatic ordeal.
This cat wasn't a pet, he was my brother. I know stuff like that sounds overused, but that is only to those who haven't been moved so deeply by their animals as I, and many others, have.
