So, I had a dream last night that was... something else.
In amongst the chaos, there was a reprieve, and I visited some camp late at night, where I met a little girl who looked a lot like I did when I was a kid--I've decided to call her Collette--and she convinced me to sit down and draw with her
We talked while we were there, about what I don't remember, but I do distinctly recall crying at some point... and then she told me to smile

This island is what we drew together. I don't know why, but it's what we did.

Sometimes it pays to take a step back and just breathe. Remind yourself that, despite how things may look, they could always be worse. Don't get bogged down by the things you can't control, just hold your head up high and take charge of that which you can change.
And above all else, be good to yourself and your neighbors.
