I did start this one months ago and only now got to finish it... it was very relaxing to work on it, all the vegetation and the simple painting approach helped me to ease down and get a load off, I'd gladly do another of those in the tropical island setting, especially since the upcoming weeks will be rather exhausting >v>

But like legit though this is so so pretty I really love it the blending of colours here is is nice looking with eh vacation transitions and the slight fog going ti the warmer parts here, idk I like backgrounds and this is a fab background. Really nice work with the pose the behind view is good like the perspective on the beak. (just hope no one bites his tail wile it is down there, like a shark jk jk haha)
But yeah this is great lovely work!

Ohh thank you! Yes it was time consuming but I didn't feel it very much. I kept returning to it every now and then and painting the vegetation was so soothing that time just fly by. It's a wonderful feeling and I'm happy to return to it with a new project ^v^
Ok, this is breath-taking. I'm obsessed all over the composition and your use of colours here, I think you have really outdone yourself by giving justice to the character.
Ps. I can only spot two little animals, how many others are out there? I'm curious XD Haha!

I assume you have spotted the gecko and birds? there's also some fish in the water :>
