...now whatever would give you the impression that he has a soft spot for elves, and hopes they'll come poking their noses there where they don't belong? I have no idea where you might get such an impression. :P

I still think he's gloating a bit in this picture. And I always did like how you had him curling about that branch to keep his hold.

His pose was hard to get right, but it did turn out well. Unfortunately, he looks like an entirely different lizard. He's a bit too small compared to the elf, and he's kinda scrawny, compared to the other pictures I've drawn of him. He looks more like some kind of lizard-man than a monster lizard, here. Not too happy with the elf's expression. She doesn't look nearly freaked out enough. I need more practice at human faces.

...then, clearly, what we're looking at here is a younger specimin of the monster lizard, probabily kept as a pet or such. And the elf was just wandering in her gardens where he's kept. Only, little does she know, that little monster lizards grow up to be bigger monster lizards, who do the kinds of things to foolishly unuspsecting elves that you depicted in the next picture... :P
