The Stellar Typhoon has been run by many different bands of pirates over the years, and each crew has seen fit to add or subtract amenities to suit their own needs. One such crew decided to include communal washing and laundering facilities, and these remain a feature of the ship under Jaws MacTaggart's command - even though most of her crew are now able to make use of similar facilities in their own cabins.
Although the communal laundrette's importance has decreased, it is still popular with certain members of the crew - who either enjoy a bit of social interaction while doing their laundry, or have had their personal machines break down on them. As you can see, Leslie Kennedy has turned up for the latter reason, but it looks like she's in for further trouble - Blackmask is already there, making improper use of the equipment at her disposal. But hey, who can blame Blackmask - she's only feline...
