Zal'inx and its tragic backstory is still on mind, so have a bad, last minute, angsty drawing I made last night. The moment Gwyneth snaps the mind flayer out of its feeding frenzy and embraces it in her arms, still believing it to be her son despite what everyone says about illithids and their hosts. Zal'inx allows it, and is definitely kneeling down so its 'mum' can hold it since illithids are so goddamn tall.
