Wakara Bails Out!

This is far from the first or last time Wakara has been forced to take to his parachute. Not that it makes it any easier to do so. Despite copious amounts of experience, the process still makes him panic. While most would (reasonably) question why he’s still flying, the most likely reason is quite literally a cruel joke. The pirate gang’s leader finds the chameleon’s panic to be amusing. Certainly not the most practical reason to keep such a klutz in the air, but it does get a laugh out of him.
This is definitely one of the more detailed drawings I’ve done and honestly quite pleased with how it came out. From the angle and pose, to the lighting and other details. That strap running down is connected to the life raft pack he’d also been wearing, which automatically deploys when the parachute’s ripcord is pulled.
Also shoutout to MathewMii who helped out with the hands. Those were giving me a lot of trouble.
