To write a coherent story, you need to work out both the characters' past and their future.
And since the main plot required much more backstory from me, I got carried away with prequels, creating a bunch of side characters in the process. And only now, while working on the secondary AMX 50 B, who got into the story a little more than necessary, I remembered that I have a main character - AMX 50 B, whom I haven't touched yet because he is from the main plot, plus I don't yet know how to write him and what he will be like.
Anyway, now I have two French baguettes.
