Made to measure for a special day with dad, devine and delicious from the kitchens of
stripekazama
My dad came to visit, and I was wanting to make something nice and special :D. I decided I wanted to make something with pork tenderloin, and here's how it's made!
Note: Those little orangey dots in the sauce are from the meat juice.
Peppered Tenderloin:
Ingredients:
600g Pork Tenderloin (obviously!)
8-9 streaks of bacon
Cheese (I used feta!)
Coarsly ground blackpepper.
Spotty Sauce
Ingredients:
Leftover meatjuice!
5 Decilitres cooking cream.
½ a Decilitre of Soysauce
2 tablespoons of Tabasco
Some more blackpepper!
Stir-Fry Mixture a la Stripe
Ingredients
2 Onions
1 Mushroom
½ Decilitre of soysauce
How to: Peppered Tenderloin
1. Pre-Heat the oven to 200C/392F.
2. Put the tenderloin in an ovenproof tin.
3. Make a deep cut along the long side of the meat. Fill the cut with your choice of cheese and then completely wrap the tenderloin in the streaks of bacon.
4. Sprinkle coarsly ground black pepper over the bacon-covered tenderloin. (If you'd like to, you can sprinkle a little bit of Worcestershire sauce over it before adding the pepper.
5. Leave it be in the oven for 17-20 minutes.
How to: Spotty Sauce
1. When the meat is cooked, pour the left-over meat juice into a saucepan, along with the cream, soy, tabasco and black pepper and heat it up!
How to: Stir-Fry a la Stripe
1. Cut the mushroom and onions into large chunks, then fry them when getting slightly fried, pour the soy sauce over it. And let it fry until getting a nice colour!
Another note: Goes extremely well with Jasmine rice!
