Definately! =D When I found out they had pretty pastelly colours for for the arrows, that's what I went with :) Thankfully, we can use whatever colours for the fletchlings and they're not restricted on that :)

Well, it wasn't so much that I was keeping score ;) I was just having fun practicing and hopefully getting better at archery. I figured I'd work on that first, and then keeping score once I can land all 6 arrows on the target ;) LOL!

I miss playing in the SCA.... I should go back sometime. I just moved, so I bet there's an active set around here. It means I have to play in Caid and I am definetly a Kingdom of the West girl, so... we'll see. :)

Yup! I just got a new string put on it, so I'll be testing it out this weekend...hopefully it'll be better than that white string. But it shoots pretty good :)

It's not that hard, really :) Once you figure out how to nock the bow with the arrow (and make sure you're using the right bow for left or right handed), then it's just pulling back and letting go :) Once you get that down pat, then you worry about aiming at the target ;)

Coolness! ^_^ Another SCA furson! :) How long have you been involved in the SCA? I've only been in the SCA for 2 months. I love watching the fighters on the fields, the heavy weight as well as the light weight fighters. ^_^

I'll be in it now for nearly a year (started going to gatherings and meetings in Sept. 2006) but I still very much consider myself a newbie! XD

Watching the fighters is always fun :) I don't think I'd want to be doing that (rushing towards each other, and whacking each other with sticks!) but combat archery is starting to sound more and more appealing to me :)

Well, I've always liked history that extended further than the 1900's ;) The farther back it goes, the more interested I'm in it :)
