As is my own tradition, I have made a new character. Although, unlike all my other characters where I either make a ref or have a singular piece of art as a form of cameo, I’ve managed to make several pieces of art of this OC in a single day. Typically it’s so I can feel properly attached to them and have a motivation to draw them, but in this case, I loved them immediately.

This is Solaris, and they’re a part of an open species called a Chompie. Chompies essentially start out as blobs that become what they eat, and in this case, Solaris ate a dying god to become what they are now. Think of it as a sort of reincarnation. Solaris is the god of love, music, and the sun. They currently front as a pop star in order to gain followers (or worshippers) through music. They love to perform and they cherish every loyal follower they have. However, it does come from a bit of a power-hungry place, and they don’t really appreciate anyone trying to get in their way of rising to an all encompassing place of power.

Side note: Chompies are sexless, Solaris goes by any pronouns (she/he/they)
