"Oh Winter is a cold mistress. Killing trees and life, snuffing out the heat prowling like wolves out for easy prey. There at a bench I sit in the night, crying for the life lost. Wishing that the tree would come back to life. Holding my coffee as its steam escapes. I wipe my tears as my tail slouches, praying for Winter's End. Then suddenly, a beam of light pierces the sky like a spear, the Sun begins to rise from the mountains, bringing with it heat. Rejuvenating life around it and melting the snow. Spring has come, but what of the tree? The tree will live once again, it wasn't dead but only resting for the season."
