Faebruary: In February, I made a project drawing the characters of Kroashent as other species from their world to introduce some of the lesser-used creatures of Alvez. A few of them didn't get uploaded in February, but still planning to upload them.

Renee: A Lethan Knight assigned to guard a remote seaside fortification, Renee fell in love with the Marie-Morgane Ailinor. After completing a set of seemingly impossible challenges, she joined her lover beneath the waves as a Marie-Morgane herself, becoming a defender of the Beacon City.

Wind Dragons: Wind Dragons are reptilian creatures that draw their power from the 12 Winds, magical currents that flow across Alvez. Natural shapechangers, they can present themselves in a variety of forms to interact with the world. The power of a Wind Dragon is determined by their horde, which captures and stores the magical energy they draw their lifeforce from.

Val's Notes: I've been mulling dragons for quite some time, trying to fit them within the larger context of Kroashent, balancing a desire for a sophisticated culture that could interact with the other Tuath on both a societal and a personal level, but with the "force of nature" elements that define medieval dragons. It finally clicked when, over the course of my research, I discovered mention of draconic personifications of the wind in medieval literature, and built them out from there.

Making our prototypical knight Renee into a dragon was of, course, a no brainer.
