My old man dog. <3

Reo's been slowing down, and getting tired, but that's okay for an eleven year old dog. We've only had him for the past five of those years, and in that time he's been a companion and a friend not only to my hubby and I, but to members of our church, residents of local nursing homes, children of all ages, and even tourists that had to go on vacation without their dogs.

His body's been fighting a nasty infection for the past few weeks, and some unidentified lumps. It comes with the territory; we knew when we adopted him that our time together would be relatively short. The end will arrive before we know it; until then, we'll enjoy every minute with him, and trust that God's timing will be perfect. It certainly was that day five years ago when we walked into the humane society and saw this handsome face looking up at us.
