Welcome to my sick twisted mind, where everything is a comical magic poof.
Jokes aside, Fruits Basket also altered my brain chemistry growing up. I can't NOT chuckle at magical poof transformations back and forth into creatures or humans. Ryu is a shy anxious guy, I just wanted to practice re-drawing some expressions from a Manga I've been reading, and I also wanted to try and making some unique markings that match the ones on Ryu's cheeks. I feel like if I have different types of elves, they should each have something sorta cool. But maybe he'll have horns instead of markings.... hmmm.

Anyway, I'm gonna leave now. Pretend I was never here.
