This was another project we did in character design. We had to do a shelled animal, of any kind, first we had to do a realistic impressionistic version of it, with an extra element to incorporate later in the design. For instance making a red realistic turtle to later show it's angry or something. I painted a camo armadillo, and then created this, knowing ahead of time my idea in mind :) This was put in the end of the year show :D I am very proud of this character and piece! It was a lot of fun seeing another out of the norm creature in my style.
