Azriel is the leader of Team Lazarus, an infamously no-nonsense group of Explorers who tend to let their competitive streak get the better of them. Admittedly, this tomboy is the worst of it, her fellow explorers only really following her into this because:
A) One of them is her best friend and the other was literally created to protect her.
B) Where else are they gonna go?

That's not to say that Azriel is entirely a jackass, she has her limits, for instance during the Limestone Cavern Incident, they let fellow infamous group Team Charm "win" a race to find the treasure since they found out that there was a Time Gear hidden away behind an illusion (don't tell anyone about that though).

In the end, she's a spiky but somewhat honourable(?) leader of a group that, despite being disliked by alot of people, still fine business for their efficiency and... Admittedly alot of people have a crush on her-
