So i figured why not share a bit of lore of how Neptin "Mep" Shumabe has acquired this strange symbol that has now been appearing on him. Here goes:

It started out with dreams of a being pointing at him telling him "You have been chosen... Chosen to wield the symbol..." It has been happening multiple nights. The dream over and over for the next week or two.

Neptin never has gotten a headache before and all of a sudden his head started pounding like something was definitely wrong. Later he started seeing the symbol appearing on his front and back of his paws. Looking at the reflection in the water it's on his chest and forehead.

Sooner or later the headache goes away any feels more powerful but also different about himself. Like he heals extremely fast. He lost his fire breath but he has a lot of psychic abilities. The symbol seems to glow yellow when he's using it and sometimes his eyes glow red as well which that never happened before...

He recalls cutting himself one time accidentally and he bled the color black instead of his usual color red. He thought he'd been poisoned but yet that must have been his new color of blood. He learns later that even at the age of 23 which is a young dragon being an adult of course, it seems that he is stuck at the age of 23.

28 years later he's still 23 and he's apparently on a timer for when he hits exactly 100 years old the symbol will kill him and he will cease to exist.

Unfortunately for Neptin, he feels he must isolate himself because the power is too great and he's afraid to he'll hurt someone. His power is like a battery if he uses too much of it he can either faint, go into a coma, or simply die. If there is a cure, he hopes to find it...

It may be a gift from some unknown entity, but it's also a curse...
