Day 174 - March 27th, 2741

We got some good news, but of course it couldn't come without some bad news. Fuck this place.

OK so, their original plan to blow open a caved-in route is not an option anymore. STEEL patrols set up camp nearby and its too risky. Guess those explosives Twitch was working on will need to be put aside.

Good news is that Rose might have another lead to escape the Foundry. More bad news? It's down in the caves, likely used by whoever is entrenched there, and involves more void bullshit. Unlikely its the Cultists, but Rose will need to venture down himself to verify. The even worse news? On the way back from his scouting run, he spotted some rival gangs around our hideout entrance. Armed and looking for something. Probably us.

Brick put out the order to pack light and prepare to relocate to a fallback hideout on the 3rd sub level. We will need to leave most of our stuff behind for now, but we should be able to reclaim it if we can extract quietly and not compromise our current hideout.

Wrench is taking the lead on packing up, ordering everyone on what to take and what to leave. She is also taking out small but vital components of complete guns or equipment that we must leave behind. This way, if the hideout is found, they can't use our stuff.

We leave tonight, Rose to scout ahead and the rest of us armed to the teeth following loosely behind.

As a precaution, Wrench ordered everyone to keep at minimum a loaded gun on them and basic body armor at all times. Brick, however, is fully kitted out with a makeshift suit of armor, since I don't think anything else would fit him. And he also has a massive machine gun in case we get ambushed. So far, we remain in the clear, but that can change any moment.
