has been updated now that I figured out the missing parts to the tutorial that were pretty important for shaping the little potted cactus on the shelf.
Also taking things a bit BEYOND the scope of the tutorial meant for beginners, I crafted up a little Bonsai tree in a separate file, and then imported - appended it to this bedroom file to teach myself how to add objects from other blender files or complete file imports into other scenes like this.

The flat OLED monitor for watching movies, surf the net, and more importantly, watching CORN on CornHub with hubbos was my idea in place of the little lamp table in 3DG's tut. xD

So now finally, after learning what the missing steps were regarding making the little cacti and my own Bonsai, here's the full scene done by me, following 3DGreenhorn's youtube tutorial.
