Lil art based on earlier chapters of TheInfamousDoctorF and their SAMS AU fic "Eclipse Meets His Match.", as I wanted to draw this in forever.
Gotta love how Doc uses Ruin as an antagonist in EMHM, as he's strictly based on his earlier appearances on SAMS, and refused adjusted to Ruin's changes in behavior on the show. In EMHM Ruin just stayed unhinged, just an insane theater kid mad with power.
Wanted to draw him in his snazzy suit from the first showdown, singing his heart out to a literally captivated audience.

That is true. But I’ve seen many other fics author’s panic and try to keep their fics canon even if they were on track for something different. Like a plot line or character was thought to be going in one direction, but oop! nope it went the other way; even if their fic by all rights is running in their own direction.
It’s why I love AUs, let’s us play in the sandbox! Canon is just guidelines and we do not have to follow all of them 😆
