Link & His Bunny Suit
Okay, so: I hate thinking that the Hero Of Time had a depressing life after Oot and MM. I don't accept this. I won't. So Imma give him some happiness, damnit!
The idea here is that, when Link gets back to Hyrule, Malon finds his Bunny Hood hilarious and comes up with a cunning plan to modify it to make it even more embarrassing to wear. Link thinks it went missing for some time until Malon gives it back to him, but now it's been sewn and stitched into a full-body onesie.
The one mistake Malon made in her plan was that she did too well in her craftsmanship. So much so that Link now refuses to take it off. Increased movement speed, and the ability to sleep out in the wilds without a bedroll? Plus he just likes how it looks. At first, Malon was dumbfounded. It took some time for her to understand that he also liked it because she made it just for him.
Only downside is the mittens make playing the ocarina impossible.
