They're called "Osterglöckchen" (Easter bells) in German because of their flowering time around easter season. I was surprised to read they're endangered. Perhaps there are regional spots where they're more common while rare elsewhere.

Aww, it's never a bother. I enjoy getting comments and I enjoy reading them, and I'm sure most other people do as well.
I understand what you mean, I'm shy too and always wonder if what I said is "good enough" or I worry that it might accidentally bother someone. But I think the best advice is to think less about it and to write what's on your mind. Chances are high people will appreciate it.
