FINISHED AT LAST!
Oh gosh this one took a long time and that was mostly due to be put on hold far too many times. Was supposed to have it done for Yule last year, but life got in the way.
Is a traditional advent calendar bellpull style, used to count down the days to Yule/xmas, by each number representing the days of December. Each number has a little hoop to tie a small gift to. Each day, the child owning the calendar can pluck off the gift for that day to unwrap.
I made this one for my little niece, to let her have a personal and unique calendar all to herself. Everything I did myself, even the design is by own hand. I'm especially proud that I pushed myself to sew it together myself, instead of leaving that to my mom as I usually would. Is not too bad for a first try, I must say. So I hope my niece gonna like it. Now I know better about the sewing process, I can try make more of these for friends and family.
